RE: Colorado gmu 25 Sweetwater Lake
I have been looking at 25, but for next year. I have hunted 33 and 34 right next to it. It appears to have a lot of jeep type trails where you may need a 4 wheeler to get back into. When Colorado maps say Jeep, they really mean it.
25 is just south of the Flat Tops Wilderness area and access is good until you get up in it a ways. Then you have the jeep trails. There is a good elk herd, but depending on the weather and hunting pressure, they may be higher in the Flat Tops which I think is GMU 24.
