Siman- first off I'm sorry you didn't find your buck bro, I really am. Trust me I have lost several deer with a bow (my ignorant inexperience) and it's a sickening feeling everytime yet I find some positive and learn some lessons as well.
Also- I'll be hitting the woods for the first time this season tomorrow morning! I really, positively, absolutley cannot wait. I'm pumped. I'll be hunting a transition zone/staging areabetween two prime bedding areas and a white oak flat that I THINK might present a shot at Lefty- a 130-135" class mainframe 10 with a split left G2 in the morning. Even I don't even see him its going to be a great hunt- I do however, expect some buck activity at my morning location, regardless of age and size, there is just too much cover, water and food available for a biggun to not show up SOMETIME during the season.
In the afternoon I'll be hunting another transition zone between bedding areas where there are several oaks that are really dumpin the acorns. Im not really expectin much buck activity out of this blind, I'm just hopin to garner a little info about the herd and their patterns cause my brother (wahoohunter) will be comin in next weekend and we are goin to try to take a couple does.
I should be on tomorrow night with a summary!
