Default If you were a doe...

If you were a doe....where would you be hiding here?

I've decided I'm pretty darn good at finding stands that bucks like to cruise by (bigguns, littluns, everything in between) which is all fine and dandy, except we have EAB regs. I have only seen two does from stands thus far this season, while seeing several bucks. I've taken a bunch of deer of both sexes during gun season (to be honest only one was outside of my comfort range for a bow as well) so I am confident in my abilities to get close. I have not been able to take a deer with bow yet, granted this will only be my second season bowhunting seriously. This last part doesn't bug me, because I know I will get that first one with the bow if I stay patient.

So, seeing as I need to tag a doe before I can put my buck finding skills to the true test, where do you think they are hiding here?

Ok, the area outlined in red has been clearcut now. The are outlined in green is planted with corn. The yellow lines indicate some logging roads. I have had good buck sightings on stand from the northeast stand (blue dots = stands sites) and the stand on the southwest corner of the cornfield is the area I've seen does enter the corn - I just haven't had the right wind to hunt that corner yet.
