Default RE: Slick Trick Razor Trick Test

Ahhh, recurves. My first was a left-handed Red Wing Hunter with Easton 2117 Gamegetters and Bear 145 grain razorheads. What a combo and what fun it was back then, too. Got my first deer, a spike buck with it on the way to my treestand. I was working mids and got off an hour early but still was heading to my treestand after daylight had broke. I heard something in the leaves behind me and saw the buck coming my way but at an angle. He was following a trail with his nose down and when he intersected withmy trail, he froze, but he made the mistake of looking away from me first. An easy 20 yard broadside shot similar to what I practiced every day. Many more deer have fallen to some type of arrow from me and I'm proud of all of them but the first is always the sweetest.

Good luck this season,

GZ
