Woo hoo, season opened wed finally. Got in my stand a little early, but had deer within 15 yds. by 6:40. From then until 9:45 there were deer within 75 yds. That was pretty fun, eventhough no bucks were present. I got to pick my shot because I had so many opportunities. Finally a large doe was standing facing quartering away by a tree that had one of my 30 yd. marker on it. I took the shot, and she ran only about 40 yds. and killed over. What a great way to start the season. Now I'm huntin' for horns!
