Very tough call. I would not be comfortable using the stuff if all it did was attract them. Just like I am not one in favor of hunting over any type of bait pile. I say "pile" for good reason. I am not opposed to hunting around farmer fields which have planted corn, bean etc. Why the difference...just my opinion. I think a bait pile is almost cheating as it provides an improper advantage over the animal. A corn field, a bit different.

I lost a lot of respect for the hunting done in Saskatchewan once I found out that most deer are baited there.

To each their own if it is legal in the state you hunt. If you enjoy that type of hunting great! Personally if I were to do it, I would not be as proud of the trophy.
