It looks like a neat little gun. You say your friend want the 12/223 combo? I would think it would be a great little coyote/varmitgun, you could use the 223 part for most shots and the 12ga if they're up close and on the move. You could use it for deer too, but I'd want a scope to get the most out of that 223 barrel. Thebiggest fault I can see with it is that combo is almost twice as expensive as the other ones. You could get a lot more gun for that price IMO.

I've only handled them in gun stores, if they were cheaper, I think they would be more popular. Beware of "do all" guns, sometimeswhen you need a hammer, a multi-tool won't cut it.Still, like I said, they're pretty neat.
