Nothing, that is what a trail camera is for...it does just that -monitoring trails. As long as you stick it in a funnel or a well known trail that deer travel (ie in/out of bedding & feeding) thats all you need.

And as long as you have a scoutguard, you wont miss that buck of a lifetime..
