RE: Dip and Crest Question
Bohning makes the paint and clear coat that I use. JDoyle is right some type of dipping tube is a must. Dipping is a slow process when done right and cresting adds to that. But the arrows some of these guys make are absolutely beautiful.
A young man I know taped some and used spray paint and his didn' t come out half bad.
I have used the wraps and they spice your arrow up no doubt. They certainly are easy by comparison and durable. I would argue that when I clear coat mine they are more durable than the wraps however. I also like to dip farther down the shaft than the seven inches that the Eze-crest wraps go. Just a personal preference.
