Welcome!!! As for the bears....pretty much the same animal. They just vary in size due to where they are located. The Kodiak is mostly named for the area....Kodiak Island and are one of the largest of the "Grizzly" species. The inland grizzly is much smaller. Alot has to due with it's diet. The salmon eating ones get much bigger.
