Default RE: For those that lease property

I am lucky to know a guy who owns property in west texas. His father died and i help him on the land. In fact im the only one who helps him on it after his dad died. So he has told me im his hunting buddy now.
We have hunted there 3 years now. This year is already on it's way.

But when i do lease it cost about $300 - $600 since i cant afford to pay the higher end prices.
However the guy i hunt with anywhere around him for lease is $1500 and up for lease.

There is also property for sell anywheres from $600 and up and acre.
If you cant afford to pay these prices, try public land hinting and national forests. it is not as bad as some of the horror stories you hear about.
Check them out and explore the areas to find the least crowded spots. There plenty or acres to hunt.
