Very true Rob. That's why I said I would wait several hrs and go back in the middle of the night or just wait til I got off work and go. With this incident Im speaking of, I knew I hit him good enough to take him out, it was a matter of waiting him out.. if it were a gut shot I would have waited until 1 am or so to go. I have learned my lesson on pushing deer too soon years ago.
