Looks like I'll make the opener afterall!!!! I had surgery back on Labor Day to remove my Gall bladder, and I'm still not 100%, but that's ok, because I'm gonna get out there anyway. Not gonna be using my trusty climber though, but I may be able to get up in a tree with it next weekend if things keep going well.
Saturday morning, I'm taking a brand new bowhunter into one of my favorite spots with hopes that he can score a doe, and maybe I can bust one too.

.Five years ago, I hadan exploratory laparotomy done to removesome masses (benign, thankfully). 3 weeks later, still unable climb, I took a ground stand on public land and was able to arrow a 6 pointer. All I can say is thank God for game carts
