Ya! we have Diamond Backs here also, butin the warm canyons and especially in the basalt rock formations. Thank gosh! by the time I get around to hunting in those areas it is cold and they are doing their thing. Sure am glad they are a cold blooded creature.
One thing that reminds us a lot is that we have a plant called a "Golden Pea" that grows out there in the wild and in the fall when the pod drys and the wind blows - you get a pretty erie sensation when you hear them rattle.
