Picked up the savage 10fp saturday,triger feels really good,was set on 1.9 lbs from factory,put a nikon 4x14x40 scope on and cleaned the barrel now soon as I get a chance going to the range to try it out.I tried to find out what twist it was but couldn' t find anything about the twist on the savage site or the litature that came with it,so I tried to find out myself but I didn' t have a 22 jag so I just put a patch on the end of the cleaning rod it wasn' t as tight as I wanted but I came up with 1:9 twist if anyone knows for sure what it is susposed to be how about passing it back to me.
I picked up 2 boxes of wal mart specials with 55 gr bullets,since I don' t want to start reloading them just now( allready have to many cal. to reload for now.)any one got a suggestion as to what grain bullet I should try in it with what ever twist rate it is?
