I have not shot a deer yet with any weapon i would think of it hard sorry to say. last year i missed twice both bucks both broadside 15 yard shots.

I would say no but when in the woods the buck fever might get the best of me. Got to say what part of season it is should not matter a bad shot is a bad shot.
