Where we hunt, Specks are only open tell December, but the valley is the destination for the majority of this birds in this Flyway, so they get over populated. But yeah, if your planning on hunting the refuges, and are willing to pay an extra $40+ it would be worth it to put in for season long reservations at the two refuges i hunt, it will increase our odds of getting a reservation, and thus, guaranteeing us a blind area
