RE: How many strings can you cut on the bow string and still be safe?
If you are near any of the bigger shoots (IBO Triple Crown, etc.) then you could check them also. I usualy wait till then to buy from the BCY rep. He usually has a good selection and willing to give you advise. (personally I like 450 Plus)
