It is difficult for me to make generalizations without more specifics. A 70 lb draw weight is a good start as most, if not all, 70 lb bows have the potential to generate large amounts of kinetic energy even with a shorter than average draw length...provided the bow is tuned ofcourse.
Rocket Steelheads have proven time and again to be one of the more well-made, better penetration expandables on the market because of their design and cutting diameter. Head over to
www.bowjackson.com and use his archery programs to figure out KE, etc.. for your setup. If you are generating something in at least the 50-55 ft. lb range then I think the Steelheads will be fine for you.
