yes this is very true indeed- only the finest of hunters will end up with one of these elusive creatures. there is no way you can drive for ten minutes and get one -it is simply unheard of- especially for the new elk hunter- it takes years of
struggle- endless dedication- and a real eye for sign - as well as an impeccable
ability to read terrain- if you know anyone in the area that has hunted elk before- please be sure that they are following all the rules and that they are on good terms with local law enforcement- preferrably before you take to the feild with them-
