The gun would have to be shipped to a FFL and he would then run a background check on you to release the gun. You can call around and find a FFL and see what they would charge. If you sell the gun to someone else then they would have to provide you with a copy of their FFL dealer and you would have to ship it to the dealer. Face to face does not require a FFL.
