I believe I can answer you question about them moving the suppressors. On my new 101st I was having problems with the string loop rotating around the string after every shot. I had it tightened and retied a few times but still had the problem. I took it back to the shop and spoke to one of the more knowledgeable guys. He told me the suppressor is to close to loop causing it to snap around. I had an after market one put on in the lower position and problem solved. There was also a problem with the kisser buttons not staying on and being to close to old suppressor. It also seems to quieter now. Ken
Could be but I have the factory String Suppressor on my General where it's located close to the string loop and I tied my own using Greg's thread using the BCY material from RedCharm and ever since I put that on no problems at all.
I have not had problems with my loop either on the Marquis. I don't mind that they changed it, just wondering if there was a specific logic behind it. Maybe you're right though CCPaHunter. Maybe it was causing some problems with string loops.
