I've bowhunted hogs for about 7 years now. Small hogs are not a problem with any type of broadhead. It's when you want to shoot a big boar that it becomes a problem. I use mechanicals, but I would not use one with an aluminum ferrule. I've used steelhead 125's from the beginning and have not had a problem with them. Even accidentally shot clear through one 300 lb boars backbone, and I shoot a PSE Nova round wheel bow at 65 lbs, which doesn't have a whole lot of power. I currently use G5 Tekans, which I think are great broadheads.
