i would really use a rage or grim because i have seen hogs take many arrows and not die so you want a massive hole.
A hog (or any other animal you arehunting)cannot live with a hole (small or big) through its lungs.
Penatration is the key...not the size of the hole.
Im notdis-agreeing with you .....but there is on animal i know of that can live on one lung and that would be a bear........... But you bring a good point and all in all its all on your shot placement
