The 25 grains really won't make much of a difference in how the broadhead performs. However, I hunted hogs in FL and always used fixed blade Muzzys for them. Anyone that has been around here awhile knows I am a HUGE supporter of mechanical head and have used them for nearly 20 years. With that said I used fixed heads on hogs. Your outfitter has good reason to give you that advice.

To make sure you have a good time by not creating tension with the outfitter and ensuring you have equipment he is comfortable with I'd suggest you at least get some 100 grain fixed blade heads. You show up with 100 grain Rages and he might put you in the "special" stand where you can do no harm.
