Alot of people that want current photos and dont have access to spy satelites usually contract out to photographer. Construction companies do it all the time to get aerials on large projects. These photographers are sometimes hard to find, sometimes not. They usually have access to a plane, and the proper cameras that can take quick snap shots of your property. However, going about this way isnt cheap. The cheapest way is if the county you live in keeps there GIS maps up to date. you usually can get them online, or get them from county records office. just google your county and GIS, and you will see.
