My only reservation with your suit would be the flannel shirt. To me "flannel" means cotton, and I don't viewcotton as a suitable fabric for vigorous outdoor mountain activities.
Amen. Same goes for that chamois shift he mentioned. Don't take a stitch of cotton with you...underwear...t-shirts...nothing. Make everything synthetic or wool. You'll be much happier regardless of the weather.
