Default RE: WHERE IS BOWTECH HEADED???? CHECK THIS OUT!!!

Bowtech has historically been inclined to AVOID other patents, and with all the BS Hoyt has gone through this year, I’m not sure Kevin would want to go that route at all, since it seems against his nature as someone who wants to “do it better”. As cool as the hybrids are, I’d hate to see everyone jumping on ANOTHER bandwagon for the next several years. Innovation, Not Stagnation. The Force Multiplier is a good system, especially w/ smoothing out the back end of the force draw curve, but I’ve seen conflicting results on the nock travel issue. The other negatives are that it’s heavy, bulky, and still does not promote a straight string path. However, The G3.2 is the most accurate Bowtech “onecam” I’ve owned. Extremely pleasant and forgiving since they moved it to the Pro series riser.

And as Buck Magnet found out, the company is VERY accessible. Try shooting off an email to president of some of the other bigger (and even smaller) companies and see if you even get a response, let alone a fairly long detailed one.

Speculation: I think we will see that “spot” bow, as well as some refinements in the cams again. I also think we will see a longer A to A VFT bow…perhaps being dubbed the Pro38 or whatnot.

I’ve been begging my contacts at Bowtech for a Patriot/VFT WHEEL bow. IMO, this would make for an excellent Whitetail hunting bow. Super smooth and easy to draw, super quiet, and still possessing a good wall, and good speed.

And yeah, a “Name that Bowtech” contest would be super cool. I like “Liberty” alot, and WWAG’s “Valor” is most excellent. Although not quite along the same theme as those two, my vote for a new bow name would be “Sentinel”.
