Blood was, indeed, shed.

What we thought was a poor hit.....ended up being an absolutely SMOKED mature NC doe.

She's in the cooler....and I'll defer to the hunter who shot her for the details. This was one of my best spots.....and the sightings were slim. I had two come by me that looked like they were headed towards Rob. I let them pass.......and they skirted him, anyway.

We'll be back on them again in about an hour. I wish them both luck, this evening.
