RE: SAXman1 - Raffle Prizzzzzzes ( WOW )
I haven't visited this site in a while but Scott is one of my dearest friends and I think that it's great what you guys are doing to help him and his family. I just spoke with him on the phone yesterday and although the treatments are kicking his butt, his spirit is high. Scott is a man of strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and even if money is tight on you right now, Scott really needs your prayers. Let me tell what kind of person your dealing with. I was selected to go on an archery hunt with the North Carolina Handicapped Sportmen Inc and was to leave my home last sunday for the trip. We'll, I was shooting my crossbow wednesday evening when a failure in the cocking device caused an explosive dryfire, destroying the string. My backup string was in bad shape so I was about to cancel my hunt. I told Scott what had happened and owning the same crossbow that I do, Scott said, "no problem Ray, I'll get a couple of strings out to you in the morning. Three custom strings arrived at my home on Saturday. I was able to go on the hunt and harvested a fine doe on Teusday afternoon. As suspected, Scott will not accept any money from me because that's how he lives his life. Last year, my son, who dearly loves Scott was chosen to go on his first turkey hunt. Scott sent my boy a turkey vest, face mask, gloves, 2 box calls, 2 slate calls and a few other nice things and Tyler got his first turkey!! I thought that for those of you that don't know Scott, I'd fill you in on what a great man that he is and because of your generosity, Scott will reap what he has sewn. Scott, I know the treatments are tough but hang in there buddy, I know a little redneck deer hunter in N.C. that loves you dearly and his dad thinks you're OK to. God bless you all.
