I would have said the I40 but if it is a 2008 model, then I definitely give the edge to the scout guard. Faster trigger and battery life with 8 AAs averages about 4-5 months with mine on 5MP 3 pic burst. I40 slowed their trigger to 3.5+ seconds and more whiteouts
