Default First time planting in SE GA

Hi guys...

So my dad and I just got into a new club in SE Georgia (North of Waycross (wide-scale); or north of Nichols/south of Hazlehurst (smaller scale), or just east of Lehigh (if you live there )). There' s a good confluence of a couple creeks there, high pines and low creek bottoms, a couple of places in the area grow watermelons and blueberries, and the club itself plants a couple of food plots (I' m not in the loop yet, so I' m not sure what they plant out there).

My dad and I are thinking of getting together a couple of little food ' patches,' and to that end, he went out and bought some stuff...

- Imperial ' No-Plow' Planting Seed, it says it has Golden Jump Start seeds and three types of clover, cereal, and granola

- some stuff called ' Secret Spot' that I can' t find a listing for anywhere.

So, good stuff or not? Is there something better for the area? And when should we plant? Thanks for taking the time!
