This morning (Thur, May 29) someone destroyed a live trap the NWTF Volcanoes Chapter had set up to capture nuisance turkeys. they broke the frame and cut the netting. Now we have to construct a new trap and set it up in a different location. Antis? Animal rights? Don' t know. Criminals - vandals - YES!
Hopefully we can capture these birds and transfer them back into the wild without interference. Maybe we will get lucky and catch the criminals. Anybody interested in hunting down these vandals? No tags required. No season limit.
