Yup I have a square but they are pretty large.

As for the barrel having shiney spots. It won't because a couple of weeks ago I got the bug and cleaned all my guns and checked the undersides for rust and stuff like that. I used 0000 steel wool to clean them and then oiled. I will check the stock though with a flash light.

I will also check to see what the two shims at the front do and report back. I also got a call in at TC I want to see if there is any chance of scoring a laminate stock.

Yo JunkStat, Might be good to start another post rather than continue this thread. Just and idea for your consideration, you would get more folks to look at it with Omega's and could possibly give you some advice, not that Mike's advice is not welcome, but there are a lot of Omega owners around and some have extensive knowledge of these guns. Chap
