I used to think the same. Then I purchased a Hoyt Ultratec[] The Ultratec improved my accuracy by an average of 20 points on the 3d range from my 2001 Martin Cougar Mag and the draw is smoother. Could I still be killing deer every year with my Martin? Sure! But it' s alot more fun in between deer seasons now!
