For the eye relief I would go with the Leupold, for the lenses the 3200. The 3200 in my opinion is the all around better scope. Like I said the only reason I would go with the VX1 is the eye relief.
I had the 3200 3x9x40 on my muzzleloader shooting 150gr of pyrodex with no eye relief issues.Friends have the same scope on 7mmremmaga and a 338win mag with no eye relief issues.
