RE: deer movement? where di dthe bucks go?
Same thing year after year for me. It has to do with all these new intrusions to their unobstructed habitat. All summer these deer have been living human free. now squirrel, dove, goose season, plus bow hunters doing their preseason scouting routine. All these scents sounds and activity push the deer (big bucks especially) to their favorite little hidey hole. After some time when all the activity kind of slows down (second week of October for me) they will feel a little more comfortable and start to move more.
