"Any bow kill is a trophy"...
All of you are WAY overthinking this!
When someone says this, they dont literally mean "trophy". It is a simple phrase, with a simple meaning. When you say it, you are just saying that bowhunting is extremely hard in its own way. Almost as if you've done something difficult and deserve a trophy.
Thats all there is to it.
