QAD Ultra HD review within
Well, ive tried 3 different rests in the past week. Im very picky about sound and groups. The bows a Hoyt Vectrix XT. The first rest was the NAP 360 which was ok, but sukked shooting anything with a offset. I couldnt adjust the rest to shoot offsets at all. Some contact was always made. Plus the loud drawing sound didnt cut it. Its a good rest for straight fletching and 3D shooting though if you by extra brushes
Second, I tried the trusty whisker biscuit droptine. Great rest. Grouped well, but again the drawing sound didnt cut it. If I had no other options, I would definitly have stuck with this rest.
Now, for the final product that im sold on. I saw a friends drop away QAD HD rest a few days ago and it looked very good. So I went out and bought one today and had the local pro shop serve it in. They were a little off on getting the lines to match up at full draw, but nothing I couldnt adjust when i got home with the screw on the thumb break. I must say this rest is flawless. Its dead quite. You hear no sound what so ever! Grouping is maybe .5-1inch better than the biscuit at 30 yards. I also picked up 6-8fps on average over the biscuit.
so if you are thinking of this rest, get it... its the best one ive tried! If you like dead quite drawing, you cant beat it[8D]
