Mike,check your state code. I was running into the same problem here in Iowa until I found in the state code where it states that if you allow someone to use your property for recreational purposes to include hunting and do not charge them a fee to do so, you are not liable as the landowner for any injuries they incur. However, if you charge them (lease or hunting fee) and they are hurt, then the landowner is liable for injury or death. I'd do it for you, but us Iowegians aren't that friendly.
