This is just my guess as to the jobs/revenue calculation. They take the number of current huntable days and the revenue generated from that. (probably from surveying little stores, restaurants, & places to buy gear) This gives a revenue per day. Now add 17 more Sundays (7 archery, 2 rifle, 3 late season, 5 spring gobbler) And there’s your added revenue. As for the added jobs…not sure. Maybe they survey how many service industry jobs it takes to care for the number of hunters for that number of days, and then extrapolate that out too. I can’t see it PHYSICALLY adding jobs, but it would certainly make those places dependant on hunter traffic do much better.
