RE: Cast Bullets
If it were me, I would call and be absolute certain. Do I think they would be legal? I would suppose they should be. And as long as they are loaded safely and properly in a cartridge of designation such as a 45-70 or any of the other calibers of suit they should be just as reliable and deadly as any copper jacketed bullet. My guess would be that they are specifically talking about a bullet that is designed not to expand at all and in such terms they usually mean full metal jacketed bullets (fmj) or at least that is the case way down here in Alabama.
