Depending on how much emphasis you put on a complete pass thru (I put a lot), I'm not convinced 60# KE is enough.

My personal experience suggests it is not enough.

Its not the KE it loses in opening the blades but rather the additional energy required to get a 2" blade all the way through 2 sides of the hide and the body cavity as opposed to a smaller diameter head.
