i gotta ask whats it like to be able to see far enough to use binos. heck in my woods my farthest shot with shooting lanes cut is 30 yards.
Some people love them, but I'm like you and don't see a need for them where I hunt anyway (for deer).
I won't hunt without them. I'm after big bucks. They really come in handy when I get a glimpse of a deer in the distance. If I pick him up in the binos and he;s what I'm after, I'll try to call him in. If he's not what I'm looking for, I'll let him walk.
I study every deer I see with them within reason. You can see what they're eating, study the size of their rack and scan the area around them for other deer. There are many useful things to do with them.
