Must be nice..

at 3:3o the alarm goes off...it's my Wild Turkey Alarm clock..

all my stuff is on the couch..I put my stuff on amd at 4:00 Am jump in the truck

I drive to the WMA which is about 45 minutes away 26 miles..

I check in ...drive to my spot..and hike a 1 1/2 miles through the swamp//

I sit and wait. and wait..and wait.

Maybe if you didn't have your stuff on couch getting all smelly you wouldn't have to wait so long!!!!!lol j/k

I usually get up 3 hours before shooting time. I have a 45 mile drive to hunt the public land close to home. This puts me the about 1.5 - 2 hours before legal light ready to walk to my tree! I like to give it some extra time just in case I need to go to plan A, B or C... state land you know. You can never have enough back up trees!

At my cabin I'm out the door and hour before shooting time walking to my stand for the morning sits!
