i gotta ask whats it like to be able to see far enough to use binos. heck in my woods my farthest shot with shooting lanes cut is 30 yards.
Here's a good indication of what it can be like where I hunt. This was in mid-december (after leaf drop) and I STILL use binos a LOT. I see deer glassing sometimes before I'd see them with the naked eye. And it's imperative to be able to distinguish BB's from does, early.

I hunt in an area that is thick like that, but when the leaves drop you can spot them with binos. However, where do you guys keep your binos and rangefinder? I feel like a dang computer nerd with almost too many gadgets.

It's nice to have all the stuff, buy I feel like I am lugging up everything but the kitchen sink up there.
