Now, does west TX have alot of timber ? I always see TX guys hunting from blinds or tripods, over sonderos. Maybe timbered along rivers ?

the west Tx place,( north of Abilene), is all scrub oaks with a few mesquites in the one pasture. Its a hard place to find a good tree to hang a stand. the east Tx place is pine woods.
