Looks like you will be covered up in them once again Stickbow. I have somewhat dropped the bar on a shooter buck for the upcoming season due to 1) im tired of passing decent bucks for a P&Y sized for my first with a bow and 2) I lost my two best hunting parcels due to leasing/flooding.

That being said, if anything it helps my chances of scoring. Im not going out and shooting the first dink buck I see by any means, but if a decent basket rack tickles my fancy this year, its getting the shaft. me and a buddy have two 8 pointers pretty well pinned right now about 5 minutes from my house. Once I get all my papers caught up from the classes I missed chasing antelope in SD, Ill be bowhunting almost daily.

I have faith that this is the year, I lowered my standards somewhat for this season and still have some excellent parcels of land to hunt. Time for a first buck with the bow, whatever it might be.
