Default RE: BOWTECH USERS BEWARE!

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. A buddy of mine was into target shooting (not hunting) and needed cash. The bow was just over a year old and the price was right. When I went to see it he pulled out of the attic off the top of the heating duct. not thinking athing about it i held it and drew it with just fingers. it seemed like a great deal. we talked about the price again. and i drew it one more time and at about 3/4th draw it just exploded in my hands. after it was all said and done there were pieces of the limbs stuck in the drywall. I figured that it happened because of where he had stored the bow. I felt bad and gave him the money for the bow and told him to take to his bow shop and see if they would honor his warrenty. He did and they said that the bow had beendry fired and there would be no warrenty. never evev looked at a bt since.
