this might anwser your questions about the faulty limbs
Do more research, many of the problems were because of the bows being pressed improperly. The Bowtech designer was fired two years ago...........old news and definetly not the cause of limb failures. I will admit that bowtechs do have limbs blow up, but so do Mathews, and every other manufacturer over time. He probably had a limb failure, and it probably was not his fault, unfortunately no one will know for sure. Bowtech will take care of him. I have over 1000 shots on my '06 Allegiance and I am not scared to shoot it even though every other person was bashing them at the time for bad limbs. I am by no means a bowtech loyalist though, as I plan for my next bow to be a Hoyt. Just try and do us all a favor and do better research before you post stuff like this.

THis is the FIRST limb I have heard of exploding on a Liberty, so I would say that is pretty widespread.
